JAMIE KIMM IS A FOOD STYLIST AND CHEF. //

He was born in London in 1964 and discovered a passion for cooking at a young age by baking and melting toy cars in his mother's oven! He studied catering at college in Cambridge, England and returned to work in some of London's most prestigious restaurants. Starting at Le Caprice and J. Sheekeys (the lovey's favourites), he went to Rules in Maiden Lane (London's oldest restaurant), and was chef de cuisine at Bentley's, the historic fish restaurant in Piccadilly. Jamie also served as sous chef at Marco Pierre White and Michael Caine's The Canteen in Chelsea for three years (gaining a michelin star in its first year which was unheard of!). Jamie then became director of Gabriel Restaurant in Golden Square. Also included are stints at The Fat Duck in Bray Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons in Oxfordshire, The Square, Pied a Terre, and the Capital Hotel (all in London), not forgetting working at Michel Bras in Laguiole, France. All of these restaurants have received 2 or 3 stars in the michelin guides. Jamie's experience is broad and he has tales a plenty!

His recent work includes having been personal chef to Agent Provocateur founders Serena Rees and Joe Corrè. In the U.S., Jamie has been personal chef to photographer Annie Leibovitz for 3 years, and has been food styling for the last 6 years. He has recently authored his first book with Alison Attenborough called "Cooking for Friends" for Williams and Sonoma.
